The Trojans are a community owned and organized team with a volunteer board of directors. We are a part of the Ontario Hockey Association ("OHA") and have been incorporated since 1976. We are currently a member of the Ontario Junior "C" Hockey league, in the newly created Southern Ontario Junior Hockey League ("SOJHL").The SOJHL previously consisted of 15 teams, but after a re-alignment by the OHA in the spring of 2013, the SOJHL was reduced to 9 teams, with the exit of all 7 teams that remained from the old McConnell conference and the addition of the Aylmer Spitfires.
The Trojans have been a very successful organization with many accomplishments, including the following.
- 43 years of operation
- 9 Ontario championships ( only team in Jr D history with that many )
- 12 conference championships
- Most notable of these championships were the 1989 - 1992 seasons and the 2010 - 2012 seasons, where the Trojans won the Ontario title for three consecutive seasons, being the only team in league history to accomplish this feat not only once, but twice.
With a rich history like the Trojans have, we also have many proud alumni, Including Steve Rucchin, who went on to play in the NHL from 1994 - 2007, including being the captain of the Anaheim Mighty Ducks from 2003 - 2005. The Trojans hold an alumni tournament every 5 years to allow for the almost 500 former players a chance to compete against each other and re-live some of their junior hockey moments with old teammates.
